Terms & Conditions
Effective date: July 20, 2026 · Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Eastside Traveling League, a Washington nonprofit corporation doing business as "Eastside Travel League" ("ETL," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of our website at eastsidetravelleague.org, our web application, and our mobile applications (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Who may use the Services
The Services are intended for adults (18+) acting on behalf of a member program or team — including program directors, coaches, team contacts, and parents or guardians — and for others the league authorizes. Children do not create or use their own accounts. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 and have authority to act for the program, team, or child on whose behalf you are using the Services.
3. Accounts and access
- We use a passwordless "magic link" sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account and for activity that occurs under your account.
- Access and visibility depend on your role in the league (for example, director, scheduler, coach, or team contact). You agree to use only the access granted to you.
- Notify us promptly at commissioner@eastsidetravelleague.org if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- access, collect, or use information about others beyond what your role permits;
- upload false, misleading, or infringing content;
- attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or their systems;
- misuse or scrape data, or use automated means to access the Services without our permission; or
- use the Services to harass, harm, or endanger any participant, especially a minor.
5. League content, fees, and participation
- League operations. The Services support league functions such as registration, letters of intent, scheduling, standings, rosters, availability, venues, and communications. Participation in the league is also governed by ETL's rules, bylaws, and codes of conduct, which are separate from these Terms.
- Fees. Program and participation fees, and any reschedule or other fees, are set by ETL and may be communicated separately. Fees may be paid online through the Services; online payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., and Stripe's terms and privacy policy also apply to those payments. We do not store full card numbers. Program and participation fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as otherwise provided in ETL's fee policy.
6. User submissions
You retain ownership of information and content you submit (for example, roster, availability, and contact details). You grant ETL a non-exclusive license to use, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the league and provide the Services. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions for information you submit, including information about players for whom you are a parent or guardian or an authorized program representative.
7. Intellectual property
The Services, including their software, design, text, graphics, and the ETL name and logos, are owned by ETL or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended league purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.
8. Third-party services
The Services may rely on or link to third-party services (for example, hosting, email delivery, or a payment processor) and to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that schedules, standings, or other information will always be accurate or current.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ETL and its officers, directors, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid ETL for the Services in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ETL and its officers, directors, volunteers, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the league, its participants, or the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (for example, Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, and 13) will survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to venue there.
Class-action and jury-trial waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and ETL agree that any dispute will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding, and each party waives any right to a jury trial.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
